1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a player account, applying as an organizer, or otherwise using the Gametayo platform (“Platform”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Who Can Use Gametayo

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to participate in paid tournaments or submit organizer applications.

Gametayo is currently available to users based in the Philippines.

3. Player Accounts

• Each person may hold only one active player account. Duplicate accounts will be removed.
• Your display name and match history are permanently tied to your account. Results cannot be deleted once recorded by a verified organizer.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree not to misrepresent your identity, use another player’s account, or manipulate match results.

4. Player Conduct

By participating in tournaments on this Platform, you agree to:

• Compete honestly and in good faith.
• Respect other players, organizers, and platform staff.
• Not use cheats, exploits, hacks, or external tools that violate game rules or tournament rules.
• Accept organizer decisions on match outcomes as final, subject to the dispute process described in Section 8.
• Not engage in match-fixing, collusion, or any form of competitive manipulation.

Violations may result in disqualification, suspension, or permanent ban from the Platform.

5. Organizer Accounts & Responsibilities

Organizers must apply and be approved by Gametayo before hosting events. As an approved organizer, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your organization and events.
• Conduct tournaments in a fair, transparent, and organized manner.
• Honor advertised prize pools. Failure to distribute prizes as announced may result in suspension.
• Collect and handle entry fee payments responsibly. Gametayo is not liable for disputes between players and organizers regarding payments made outside the Platform.
• Ensure your tournament rules are clearly communicated before registration opens.
• Resolve disputes in good faith using the Platform’s dispute mechanism.

Gametayo reserves the right to suspend or revoke organizer status for violations of these terms or conduct unbecoming of a verified organizer.

6. Entry Fees & Payments

Entry fees collected through Gametayo’s GCash integration are processed between the player and the organizer directly. Gametayo acts as a record-keeping layer only and does not hold, process, or guarantee the transfer of funds.

Players are advised to confirm payment details with the organizer before transferring money. Gametayo is not responsible for payment disputes or failed transfers.

7. Tournament Results & Match Records

Results submitted by verified organizers are recorded permanently on the Platform. These records are considered official within the Gametayo ecosystem. Gametayo does not guarantee recognition by any external gaming body, publisher, or organization.

Results can only be challenged through the Platform’s dispute system within 24 hours of the match being recorded, unless the organizer sets a different window.

8. Disputes

Players may submit a dispute if they believe a match result was recorded incorrectly. Disputes must be submitted through the Platform’s built-in dispute form.

• Disputes are reviewed by platform admins, not by other players.
• All decisions made by Gametayo admins on disputes are final.
• Abuse of the dispute system (e.g. frivolous submissions) may result in loss of dispute privileges.

9. User-Generated Content

By submitting content (team logos, screenshots, feedback, reports, descriptions) to the Platform, you grant Gametayo a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and use that content for Platform operations.

You must not upload content that is defamatory, obscene, infringing, or illegal.

10. Privacy

We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the Platform: account information, location, tournament participation records, and communications through the Platform. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Your match history and public profile are visible to other users. Your email address and contact details are never publicly displayed.

11. Platform Availability

Gametayo is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time with or without notice.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gametayo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of winnings, entry fees, or competitive standing.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes through the Platform.
